"Charge of this Post"
Er... I've been bad, you guys. Fighting temptations too strong for little fragile me is hard. I watched RSRD to the season finale already. And I must say, CSI:NY season2 is the best season from the batch (Miami S4 and LV S6).
RSRD... hmmm, as I type, the AXN rerun is going on behind me. Oh well, I can always watch it again and again.
What can I say about it? Hmm... to tell you the truth, it actually was a bit disappointing. Maybe the length of the show was too short for a storyline like that. Things went by too fast right after Danny told Mac about his one night out with Tanglewood. That flashback reminded me so much for Thumpy G hahahahah. So Danny would be about 15-18 back then, right?
Lindsey looked old in this episode. Idk. She was introduced late in the episode and surprise, surprise -- she was the one who found out about the DNA and the connection to Danny. Connection was 0% in all points. Sorry.
What happened to Louie happened so fast, I actually didn't understand it. Blame it to time-constraints and maybe the writers got carried away with the Danny-romance aspect than to build-up this situation better. It all left me kind of cold.
The hospital scenes were good. Mac's 'order' to Flack to watch over Danny was very nice. At least they didn't overlook the big brother mentality the detective has over the CSI. I wonder what became of that? Lol... anyway, the way Danny addressed their mother "mommy" -- I found that very cute. The scene between the brothers is well done. Setting Danny aside, Carmine Giovinazzo did very well on the emotions on how a little brother would feel seeing his big brother -- his 'hero' -- in that situation.
I don't need a boss, I need a friend.
Finally, Danny was able to voice that out. If only he told that to Flack too. Danny doing the ugly cry was, IMO, just appropriate to close such a loaded episode.

I found the A-case confusing, with the Japanese manga element and the maternity lying all that. Quite frankly, it didn't interest me. What intersted me more on the Mac/Stella/Hawkes/Lindsey case was Mac's interaction with the kid. It was very un-Mac Taylor-like. But that's about it.
B-story -- three words: Flack and Messer. Every frame where there's Flack, Danny's not too far away. That's reason enough to squee for joy! Hahahha.....
Is it just me or are Danny's and Don's accents seem to be more pronounced when they're together. I must admit, there are some lines that I did not understand. Lol .... sexy nonetheless. Eddie and Carmine are jewels to the cast, they bring New York into the show. Their on-screen friendship and banter are two of the most convincing things on the show and it's refreshing to see (and to know) that it's real. I love their little "How do I look" scene.
One more thing, who in all hell dresses Donald Flack, Jr.? Pastel colored white shirt, gold striped necktie? Then rose colored shirt with a similarly colored necktie with what looks like embroidered (or printed) patterns? And Danny's fashion taste is quite questionable too, on this episode. He seems to wear the same brown shirt or something with the same style. What happened to his dress shirts? I miss them.... Lol!
Well, amidst the bad male fashion (Lindsey and Stella buy shirts from the same place, believe me) and Japanese manga superimposing, Necrophilia Americana is an episode easy on the eyes but not on the logic. I need to watch it again (I watched it twice already) in order to appreciate the story more.
